Full Circle

August 23, 2022

One of the greatest joys of the past year has been seeing our board expand to include two program graduates. Having program graduates as part of our board was a priority. If we want our organization to be relevant, equitable and diverse, we must begin in the board room.

Each board member brings unique experiences, skills and insights to the work before us. However, there are some questions that arise that can only be addressed well by people who have experienced the Bridge of Hope program. And they are the ones helping to lead us forward.

I want share Tammy’s story with you. Tammy graduated from the program in 2017 and returned four years later as a board member. To our delight she has also become the chair of the Program Committee, which supports case managers working with current families.

Tammy’s story has come full-circle. What a gift and what a testimony! If this is not God’s kingdom at work, then I don’t know what is.

Please hear Tammy’s story in her own words in this short video.

Thank you for investing in the future of our organization by investing in the families we serve.
