Please note, we are not an emergency shelter and cannot offer emergency financial or rental assistance. Resources for community shelters and agencies can be found here.
To meet eligibility for Bridge of Hope Harrisonburg-Rockingham, the family must meet the following criteria:
- Homeless or at-risk of homelessness
- Family headed by one parent with dependent child/ren under age 18
- Willingness to engage in intensive case management services for 1-2 years
- Open and willing to relate to a group of Neighboring Volunteers
- No illegal substance use or misuse of alcohol or prescribed medications
- Open to working toward financial stability through employment
- Currently residing in our service area of Rockingham County or Harrisonburg City, Virginia
We currently do not have openings in the program and are working through our wait list on a first come, first serve basis.
